Job Descriptions:

  • Coordinate with project manager, solution architects, and delivery team to confirm ballpark estimation and project scheduling. 
  • Support the rationalization and synergy/alignment of cross related applications/business requirements.
  • Understand Regional and Local Product/Business Strategy Roadmap. 
  • Document the completion of the project and conduct a Post Implementation Review during Project transition period to BAU. 
  • Assist BA team members (if any) and support Project Managers to monitor project progress to ensure quality, deliverable milestones and costs 
  • Improve, maintain and apply the set of methodology and ensure the adherence. 
  • Supervise and/or lead requirement gathering analysis process for medium to high (complexity and scope) projects/initiatives, bridge the gap among business users, solution architects and IT Developers in providing the application design that satisfy and agreed by related parties. 
  • Engage business users and solution architect / delivery team to document robust business requirements (i.e. BRS) for system development. 
  • Set up / maintain and update the Requirements Verification & Traceability Matrix for complex projects (if required). 
  • Facilitate the communication between IT, test center and business stakeholders to ensure all have a clear and complete understanding of the requirements. 
  • Work with/support Business Users and Tester in defining Test Scenarios, Test Plan and review Test Result in order to minimize risks during operations. 
  • Review all deliverables (incl. SIT and UAT) before deployment activities done by IT PIC.
  • Responsible for managing, coaching and developing direct reports and/or assigned BA (FTE/NFTE) – if any, as well as ensuring other team members are receiving the support they require to achieve team and company goals and individual performance standards. 
  • Manage team member and organization development, including performance management, retention and succession planning. 

Requirements:

  • Min. Bachelor degree from Business, Finance, IT or other related disciplines. 
  • 5 years proven experience in business requirement gathering or application functional design in life insurance/pension/group insurance/general insurance/business/finance/technology analysis and handle medium/large and complex scaled projects.   
  • Has project management experience and testing experience will be an advantage 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills 
  • Interpersonal skill 
  • Problem solving 
  • Negotiation Skills 
  • Fluency in English speaking and writing is essential 
  • Strong report writing ability 
  •  A Professional Certification in Rational Object-Oriented Analysis and Design/Rational Requirements Management with Use Cases Certification/Rational Unified Process Certification is preferred 
  • Quick thinking ability and an inquiring mind 
  • Credibility, persistence, confidence to manage projects, conduct workshops and presentations with senior management and other stakeholders
